THE SCHOOL ATTENDANCE
- Student must come to school regularly. No leave of absence will be granted to a student except on a prior written application from the parent for serious reason only
- Not more than 2 days leave of absence will be granted to attend the wedding of brother or sister and one day for a more distant relation on a period within application from the parents.
- All leave notes should be entered in the diary, prior written leave application should be entered in the leave Record, and every absence must be entered in the Absence Record signed by the Parent/Guardian must be counter signed by the Principal (for admission to class) When a child is absent for more than 3 days in case of sickness, a Medical Certificate should be produced along with a written leave application.
- Every Student must attend on re-opening day after each of the vacations and on the closing day before vacations
- For every absence due to illness on school days, a letter supported by a Medical Certificate must be sent to the school authorities at the earliest
- Continuous absence without leave for more than a month will render student liable to have the name struck off the rolls Re-admission will have to be sought.
- A student who was late or was absent on the previous day will not be admitted to the class without a note on the absence record which must be counter signed by the Principal.
- A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious illness such as chickenpox, measles etc. should produce fitness certificate from a doctor.
- Without the explicit permission of the principal a student must not leave the school during school hours.
- 90% attendance is must for each student.
