PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
- Parents/Guardians must help the school authorities in moulding the character of their children
- Being an unaided school, a parent seeking admission for his/her child in school has to pay the full fees
- No one shall seek concession of the school fees as a matter of right on any ground.
- It is the responsibility of the parents to make necessary arrangement for their child's safe arrival at school on time and his/her return after school
- The child should be clearly instructed what he/she should do in case his/her made of conveyance reaches late or does not turn up after the school hours
- The school cannot be held responsible for a child's failure to return home on time after he/she has left the school campus
- The school accepts no responsibility if a student is obliged to return home during school hours for failure to campus with school regulations
- A student found guilty of violating school regulations or committing any act of indiscipline is liable to be punished at the discretion of the principal
- Students are not permitted to leave the school during class hours. In case of an emergency either parent should come personally or a person should be sent with a written authorisation letter
- The Personal Memo page should be carefully filled in by the parent
- A second School Diary can be purchased by the student only on a written request from the parents and with the permission of principal
- Class cultural programme is a special feature of St. Joseph's School. Every class organises and puts up a variety entertainment programme during which all the students are offered opportunities to develop them talents in planning, organisation and presentation
- As the child advances in age he / she should be guided to become a resourceful and useful members of the home and country. With this in view students will be assigned various duties even manual work in the school. Encourage self-help for work and study
POINTS
- Never omit the lesson or homework assigned. if you do, it is like missing a train that you can never catch afterwards.
- Always revise the work done in class. Do not consider this as special assignment
- If memory work is arranged see that is completed within the given period
- Consider 'tuition' as a social evil. Avoid it by concentrating and participating in the class
- Never postpone what you can do today
- Be enthusiastic in doing everything. Live well by doing everything well. Do well what you do
- Show your school diary daily to your parents and get their initial in it
- Before study ask God's blessings after study, thank Him
